Ashton, Idaho Ashton, Idaho is a terrific town catering to the cross roads traffic of travelers on their way to and from Yellowstone Park. It is the official gateway to West Yellowstone National Park from Idaho, a frequently traveled road for motor homes and SUV's filled with skiers, hikers and nature enthusiasts. We enjoyed our stay in Ashton and helped a guy who accidentally drove his motor home into a ditch at the rest stop. Too bad, but it was the biggest thing that happened in the town all month. Fire and Rescue came within minutes, excellent response time, good hustle. |
