On the way to Salt Lake City, Utah, the Wash Guys
stopped by to visit the Bonneville Salt Flats International Speedway. An 80 foot wide, 10
mile long drag strip on the flattest surface in the world.
The track currently holds 9 of the world's highest land speed records.
Six of these records were for obtaining speeds in excess of 600 mph - "On The
Ground." Wash Guys Team salutes these men who risk it all for a place amongst the few
who can say, they are the fastest on the planet.
Just look out on the horizon, bright blinding white
salt for as far as you can see. But not that far if you are in a jet propelled rocket car
traveling in excess of 600 mph. Wow!
